Job Summar
yWe are seeking a highly motivated Power Systems Engineer to support an innovation initiative focused on substantially accelerating Transmission and Distribution planning tools using NVIDIA GPU technology. This role will be responsible for modeling and converting existing Transmission and Distribution network models currently developed in CYME and GE PSLF into pandapower-based Python models, working with NVIDIA resources and performing steady state powerflow analysis for these models using GPUs and CUDA libraries
.The ideal candidate combines strong power systems fundamentals, hands-on experience with planning tools, and programming skills, and is excited to work at the intersection of power engineering and high-performance computing
