Position Summary
The Sales Manager will lead and grow our sales team, foster strong customer relationships, and drive revenue growth. This role collaborates closely with scheduling, sales, and production teams to align strategies with company objectives and ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Development
· Manage, mentor, and develop a sales team of 2–3 representatives.
· Set clear performance goals, conduct regular reviews, and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
· Make decisions that support Globe’s success, taking into account customer needs, internal capabilities, and sustainable growth.
· Partner with scheduling and production teams to ensure accurate, timely order fulfillment.
Sales Strategy & Growth
· Develop and execute short- and long-term sales strategies to expand market share and revenue across various industries such as Plumbing, HVAC, Automotive, Fluid Control, OEM Aftermarket, Garden Hose, Gas, Industrial, and Medical.
· Collaborate with the executive management team to align sales goals with company objectives.
· Monitor KPIs, analyze trends, and identify new growth opportunities.
· Analyze cost structures and market trends to create competitive, profitable pricing models.
· Lead pricing negotiations focused on long-term client partnerships.
Customer Relationship Management
· Gain expertise in our products and manufacturing processes to effectively align solutions with customer needs.
· Prioritize real-time communication via phone calls over emails.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers across multiple industries.
· Serve as the primary point of contact, for resolving customer and vendor issues timely, using solution-focused communication.
· Deliver clear, concise and well-structured messages to customers, team members, and vendors.
· Maintain a well-spoken confidence and presence both in person and virtually.
Customer Engagement, Travel & Trade Show Participation
· Travel regularly to meet with customers face-to-face. Conduct on-site visits to discuss customer operations, assess needs and build trust.
· Be prepared to attend trade shows, coordinate logistics, set up displays and engage prospects to generate leads.
· Represent the company with professionalism and enthusiasm at industry events.
Proposals, Presentations & Digital Presence
· Create tailored proposals and deliver presentations highlighting our value propositions and capabilities.
· Follow up persistently and professionally to close deals.
· Track competitor activities, industry shifts, and emerging opportunities to inform strategy.
· Maintain and update the company website and social media with fresh, relevant content.
Qualifications
· Proven sales management experience, preferably in manufacturing, Tier 1/Tier 2 or B2B environments.
· Strong leadership, mentoring, and performance management skills.
· Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
· Willingness to travel regularly, including on short notice.
· Proficiency with CRM tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and digital marketing platforms.
