Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Insurance Agent role based in Brentwood, TN. The Insurance Agent will meet with individuals, families, and businesses to understand their insurance needs, explain policy options, and recommend appropriate coverage solutions. Daily responsibilities include prospecting new clients, following up on leads, scheduling and conducting consultations, and presenting insurance products in a clear and compliant manner. The role involves preparing quotes, completing applications, and assisting clients with policy changes, claims inquiries, and ongoing service needs. The Insurance Agent will also maintain accurate records in company systems, participate in training sessions, and collaborate with team members and leadership to meet individual and agency sales goals.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Insurance Sales, with the ability to identify client needs and present suitable Insurance products.
- Understanding of Insurance and Insurance Brokerage concepts, including policy types, underwriting basics, and regulatory requirements.
- Basic knowledge of Finance principles related to premiums, benefits, and long-term financial planning is preferred.
- Strong Customer Service skills, including active listening, clear communication, and a client-focused approach.
- Ability to achieve and maintain any required state insurance licenses (or willingness to obtain within a defined timeframe).
- Comfort with in-person meetings, local travel to client locations, and working in a performance-driven environment.
- Organizational and time management skills to handle multiple client relationships and follow-ups effectively.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or relevant sales experience is a plus.
