What you’ll do as an Accountant
- Obtain a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure-Adhere to GAAP compliance and SOX requirements
- Ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close
- Assist with monthly bank reconciliations and compliance activities
- Responsible for GL account reconciliation
- Assist with financial reporting and the support of budget and forecast activities
- Prepare and analyze aging liabilities report
- Assist with the review of subsidiary results
- Assistance on projects, including process improvements and internal control initiatives
- Participate in the internal and external audit preparation
- All other duties as assigned
What you’ll need
- To be 18 years of age or older
- Authorization to work in the United States for this company
- Two to four years related experience and a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting preferred
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word and Excel
- Previous experience working with payroll and accounting software
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently with attention to detail, individually and collaboratively in a team, meet demanding deadlines in a fast-paced environment, and prioritize workflow
- Ability to work flexible hours and schedule as needed
