Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain robust automated test scripts using Java, Selenium, and Karate framework.
- Design and implement API test strategies, scripts, and frameworks to validate RESTful and SOAP web services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into automated test cases.
- Execute automated and manual tests, analyze results, and report defects with detailed documentation.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to facilitate continuous testing and delivery.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve automation issues and bugs.
- Maintain and optimize existing automation frameworks for scalability, performance, and reliability.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in test automation.
- Strong proficiency in Java programming language.
- Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver for UI automation.
- Expertise in API testing using tools like Karate framework, Postman, or RestAssured.
- Solid understanding of testing methodologies, test lifecycle, and SDLC.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or Bamboo.
- Knowledge of version control systems like Git.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
