Summary
The client is seeking a Mobile Technician to provide facilities support across multiple commercial real estate properties. This role involves performing preventive maintenance, basic repairs, inspections, and coordinating vendor activities. The position requires strong communication skills, the ability to work independently, and comfort in a client-facing environment. The technician will complete weekly onsite facility surveys and remain on-call during business hours to support vendor escorts and site access needs.
Essential Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance and basic repairs on building systems, mechanical equipment, and installed facility components.
- Conduct weekly onsite facility surveys to identify issues, hazards, and maintenance needs.
- Assist with installation, modification, and troubleshooting of building systems as directed.
- Review work orders, estimate time and materials, and ensure accurate task completion.
- Communicate with clients, vendors, supervisors, and team members to resolve issues and coordinate activities.
- Escort vendors onsite, provide site access, and oversee work performed during business hours.
- Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with building codes, safety standards, and company procedures.
- Support energy-management initiatives by ensuring systems operate efficiently.
- Follow established safety protocols and escalate issues that require higher-level support.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or relevant technical/trade school certification.
- 1–2 years of experience in maintenance, repair, facilities support, or a related technical role.
- Valid Driver’s License required.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, climbing ladders, and lifting 50 lbs.
- Basic math competency (percentages, discounts, markups).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive, proactive mindset.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

- Experience with preventive maintenance and building system troubleshooting.
