- Perform purchasing activities including ordering materials, supplies, equipment, and services.
- Prepare procurement documents, purchase orders, agreements, and front-end contract documentation.
- Conduct commercial bid evaluations and coordinate technical reviews with engineering and procurement leadership.
- Enter and maintain purchase order data in online purchasing systems.
- Expedite supplier submittals to support detailed design, construction schedules, and on-time delivery.
- Prepare prime agreement flow-down documentation and procurement packages to engineering specifications.
- Source, evaluate, and qualify suppliers to meet project requirements.
- Compile and distribute Request for Proposal (RFP) packages including drawings and specifications.
- Receive, log, tabulate, and analyze supplier proposals; provide purchasing recommendations.
- Maintain and update project procurement and material status reports.
- Communicate and resolve procurement issues with suppliers, project teams, and management.
- Prepare equipment, materials, and subcontract-related forms and reports.
- Perform other duties as assigned while complying with all company policies and standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Law, Construction, or a related field, OR equivalent applicable experience.
- 3–5 years of direct purchasing or procurement experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, problem-solving, and facilitation skills.
- Ability to devise new approaches to purchasing challenges in a project environment.
- Project-based purchasing experience.
- Experience with Oracle Financials R12.
- CPM or CPSM certification.
