- Perform forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing following established procedures.
- Draw blood specimens safely and accurately, including pediatric and geriatric patients.
- Verify patient demographics and obtain patient initials/signature post-venipuncture to confirm correct labeling.
- Prepare and package specimens for laboratory testing.
- Maintain accurate records and required documentation.
- Demonstrate leadership behaviors and strong customer focus in all patient interactions.
- Maintain a safe, professional, and compliant work environment.
- Work independently with minimal on-site supervision.
- Promote a positive image to patients, clients, employees, and the public.
- 2–3 years of phlebotomy experience.
- Demonstrated excellence in venipuncture techniques.
- Ability to deliver quality, error-free work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Strong organizational, time management, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Excellent communication skills and commitment to patient confidentiality.
- Ability to make sound decisions using established procedures and good judgment.
- Flexible availability to support multiple locations and changing schedules.
- Reliable personal transportation (bus, Uber, or rideshare not considered reliable).
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record if applicable.
- Required state phlebotomy credentials/licensure.
- Must be punctual, attend all scheduled shifts, and remain for the full shift.
- Excessive absenteeism or tardiness will result in termination.
- Training locations may vary based on trainer availability.
