Job Summary
The Phlebotomist Patient Services Representative provides high-quality specimen collection and patient interaction services in a clinical setting. This role represents the face of the organization, ensuring a trustworthy and professional patient experience while performing skilled phlebotomy and following all established procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform daily activities accurately and on time under the direction of the area supervisor.
  • Maintain a safe and professional environment while interacting with patients and staff.
  • Confidently perform forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing following established procedures.
  • Verify patient demographic information and signatures post-venipuncture to confirm proper labeling.
  • Maintain required records and documentation with accuracy.
  • Promote a positive organizational image to patients, clients, and the public.
  • Travel to multiple locations as needed and provide coverage with minimal notice.
  • Train at various locations based on trainer availability.

Required Experience
  • Three years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
  • Minimum two years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.
  • Customer service experience in a retail or service environment preferred.
  • Keyboard/data entry experience required.

Nice-to-Have Experience
  • Medical assistant or paramedic training.
  • Phlebotomy certification (preferred; required only in CA, NV, WA).
  • Experience working independently with minimal supervision.

Required Skills
  • High-level phlebotomy proficiency (pediatric & geriatric).
  • Ability to perform quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and decision-making skills.

Preferred Skills
  • Excellent customer focus and communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt to change and work flexible hours including weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (if applicable).

Additional Skills
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities in high-volume settings.
  • Commitment to company Policies & Procedures, including dress code and safety.
  • Transparent communication with peers, supervisors, and patients.

Shift/Hours
  • Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
