- Prepare environmental permit applications to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Support site selection studies and preparation of NEPA documentation.
- Assist with technical reports, environmental impact statements, and environmental field studies.
- Coordinate with engineers, hydrologists, geologists, and biologists to synthesize data for permitting documents.
- Conduct environmental field surveys and assessments and collect project-related data.
- Utilize GIS and ArcGIS data to produce maps in accordance with industry standards.
- Ensure compliance with company and site health and safety policies.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or a related natural science discipline.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a related environmental field.
- Strong analytical, technical writing, and problem-solving skills.
- Basic knowledge of environmental permitting processes and regulatory compliance.
- Familiarity with environmental site assessment methodologies.
- Basic experience with GPS and ArcGIS desktop environments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Valid driver’s license with ability to meet company Motor Vehicle Safety Policy requirements (MVR required).
- Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States (no sponsorship).
- Onsite role (not eligible for remote, hybrid, or 9/80 schedule).
- Company fleet vehicle provided for work use only (not for personal use).
- Travel approximately 25%.
