The Senior Program Manager is responsible for managing complex programs and coordinating cross-functional initiatives to support technology and business objectives. This role provides direction on overall program plans, ensures successful delivery of program implementation goals, and communicates findings and recommendations to multiple levels of management.The position focuses on overseeing projects within the IT product development lifecycle, ensuring regulatory compliance, and leveraging data analytics to support decision-making. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, organizational capabilities, and the ability to coordinate multiple deliverables across technical and business teams.Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direction on overall program plans, objectives, and goals
- Manage most or all deliverables within program implementation plans
- Coordinate complex projects and deliverables across multiple functional teams
- Conduct analysis to identify variances and develop solutions to address ongoing issues
- Develop reports and provide insights through data analysis and program evaluation
- Communicate findings and recommendations to various levels of management
- Support regulatory compliance initiatives including CPUC policy interpretation
- Ensure alignment with IT technical product development lifecycle processes
- Develop new and ad-hoc reports and present actionable business insights
- 6 years of related program or project management experience
- Experience managing complex projects across multiple functional teams
- Experience working within regulated environments and supporting compliance initiatives
- Experience working within IT or technical product development lifecycle environments
- Experience working within energy or utilities industry environments
- Experience supporting state or federal regulatory compliance programs
- Experience working with customer energy efficiency applications and programs
