Job Summary
We are seeking a contract Project Manager to lead the rapid construction of temporary structures. This is a fast-paced, short-duration engagement requiring someone who can hit the ground running.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end construction activities, including scheduling, contractor coordination, and milestone tracking
- Ensure design requirements and specifications are met throughout the build
- Identify and drive lead time reductions across procurement, fabrication, and installation
- Manage vendors and subcontractors, including scope, performance, and change orders
- Track project budget and flag cost variances early
- Oversee safety compliance and ensure all work meets applicable standards
- Communicate status, risks, and blockers to project stakeholders
Required Skills
- Demonstrated ability to compress schedules and manage multiple work streams simultaneously
- Experience managing vendors, subcontractors, and change orders
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience managing construction or installation of temporary or modular structures, including tent structures
- Familiarity with rapid-deploy or expeditionary construction environments
- PMP or equivalent experience preferred
Education Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field
Required Experience
- 5 years of project management experience in construction, facilities, or structures
