Job Summary: This role involves solicitation, negotiation, award, and post-award administration of Information Technology Software contracts. The position focuses on executing day-to-day procurement activities, mainly negotiating and executing contracts in support of the Information Technology Software team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Solicit, negotiate, award, and conduct post-award administration of Information Technology Software contracts
- Execute day-to-day procurement activities, mainly focusing on negotiating and executing contracts in support of the Information Technology Software team
- Negotiate various types of agreements in support of IT Software (Masters, SOW's, NDA's, POC's, etc.)
- Conduct post-execution contract administration
- Resolve invoices
- Conduct RFP's in the company's approved sourcing tool
- Drive continuous improvement efforts to enhance and streamline contracting processes
- Manage assigned software contract assignments effectively and efficiently, with focus on high stakeholder engagement and management
- Mitigate procurement risks while reducing total cost of ownership without negatively affecting value
- Maintain appropriate contract files in accordance with document retention policies
- Support periodic audit activities
- Collaborate with Legal to ensure compliance with all clause owner requirements and legal statutes
Required Education:
- Bachelor degree
Required Experience:
- Minimum 10 years experience negotiating IT Software contracts (Masters, SOW's, NDA's, POC's, etc.)

- Risk mitigation and cost management

Preferred Qualifications:
- Procurement experience in the energy industry
- Proficiency in SAP and Icertis
- Advanced understanding of IT Software Buying Channels (OEM, Resellers, etc.)
- Strong analytical, written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with ability to negotiate and influence critical decisions
