- Perform pre- and post-dialysis patient assessments in collaboration with licensed nurses
- Monitor and document dialysis treatment parameters on flow sheets
- Report significant patient condition changes to the supervising nurse
- Assist in emergency procedures, including CPR, when necessary
- Maintain accurate records of treatments and interventions
- Support safe and effective delivery of dialysis therapy
- Assist with laboratory collections and processing as required
- Provide patient and family education on dialysis care under nurse guidance
- Completion of a hemodialysis training course (required upon hire if not already completed)
- Previous healthcare or patient care experience preferred but not required
