Responsibilities
- Set up and operate coil-fed stamping presses with progressive dies
- Load steel coil and adjust feeders, straighteners, reels, and related equipment
- Run automatic presses using Wintriss or similar control systems
- Monitor press operation and make adjustments to maintain production rates
- Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, gauges, fixtures, and visual standards
- Troubleshoot issues during production and correct as needed
- Perform tooling changeovers and assist with press setup and teardown
- Follow control plans, safety procedures, and quality requirements
- Maintain a clean, organized, and team-focused work area
- Prior stamping or press operator experience strongly preferred
- Experience with progressive dies and coil-fed presses is a plus
- Mechanical aptitude and transferable manufacturing skills considered
- Ability to read basic prints and inspect parts to specification
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
