1st Shift (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM)

Pay: $18 to $22 per hour - Based on Experience

Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable and mechanically inclined Mechanical Assembler to join a clean, quiet, and organized warehouse/shop environment. This is a full-time, long-term, temp-to-perm opportunity with excellent growth potential, cross-training opportunities, and strong benefits once hired in. You will be assembling industrial pump units and components using hand and power tools while following detailed work instructions.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical components according to written and verbal instructions.
• Remove motors from shipping crates and set up materials on the work station.
• Use hand and power tools (wrenches, drills, screwdrivers, socket tools, etc.) to assemble fittings and parts.
• Use micrometers, calipers, and tape measures to perform accurate measurements.
• Test assembled units by running water or other standard testing procedures to ensure proper functionality.
• Perform visual inspections to verify quality and accuracy of the final product.
• Palletize, wrap, and stage completed units for shipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation at all times.
• Assist other departments as needed based on workflow.
• Stay on task and work independently with minimal supervision.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on skills.
• Ability to read and measure accurately with a tape measure.
• Ability to use micrometers and calipers.
• Strong math skills and ability to follow detailed instructions.
• Proficient with hand and power tools (wrenches, drills, screwdrivers, sockets, etc.).
• Ability to follow both written and verbal directions.
• Reliable attendance and a desire for long-term, stable employment.
• Ability to stand for the entire shift and perform repetitive manual tasks.
