Minimum Qualifications	Must have a minimum of five (5) years of demonstrated experience with either the submission or ingestion of Medicaid encounter data. Must have experience with Data Mapping, Analytical Tools, Rule-based Mapping, Data and Data Quality Management, and Healthcare Informatics. Preferred certification as a Health Data Analyst (CHDA). Preferred certification as a Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA).
Responsibilities	The Medicaid Encounter Lead shall act as the main point of contact for the Medicaid Encounter design, ingestion, quality assurance and the feedback loop to data submitters, coordinate with the Systems Integrator (SI) of the MES solution for Encounter Data Ingestion, establish and maintain procedures and operational processes for all aspects of Encounter Data, and attend all required EBI management meetings.
