Global Security Corporation is hiring a highly skilled Site Manager in Hagerstown, MD.
Duties:
- Supervise the day-to-day security operations at the Client’s site.
- Work flexible schedule, days and nights.
- Lead and manage a team of security officers and supervisors.
- Recruitment and hiring of new security officers to ensure 100% staffing requirements are met.
- Manage the scheduling and payroll submission duties at the site.
- Work closely with the Client’s management staff to include, all reporting and deliverables are being met.
- Ensure the client site is provided with high-quality security services to protect its employees and property.
- Develop and foster relationships with the Client and its employees.
- Coordinate necessary support services to effectively manage client sites to meet or exceed the Company’s financial and operational goals.
- Understand and enforce the Company’s Handbook.
- All other duties and responsibilities as required by the Client and Company.
- Lead, develop, and hold security personnel accountable for performance and service.
- Establish clear roles, responsibilities, and operating standards.
- Ensure security personnel are properly trained and qualified to perform assigned duties.
Qualifications
- Previous Supervisor or Upper-Level Management, preferred
- Good communication skills
- 10 years of either law enforcement or military experience
- A four-year college degree is preferred
- Experience in hiring, developing, motivating, and retaining quality staff
- Ability to work in a team environment or independently
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, complex situations, a team of employees, and client requirements on an ongoing basis
- Previous scheduling experience preferred
- Knowledge and skill with computer programs
- Ability to work in a team-oriented management environment while having an entrepreneurial attitude
- Knowledge of Maryland Private Protective Services security guard licensing requirements
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 per year
