Description

Role Purpose

The Advanced Field Service Engineer – Packaging is responsible for executing and leading advanced technical services on Tetra Pak packaging equipment within the food and beverage industry.

This role is designed for professionals with strong field experience, capable of independently troubleshooting critical equipment, resolving complex failures, and optimizing high-speed packaging lines.

The engineer acts as a technical reference for clients and supports team development through knowledge transfer.

The role has a direct impact on operational continuity, packaging efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Critical Requirements (mandatory)

·        Proven experience with Tetra Pak packaging equipment (minimum 6–7 years in field service)

·        English level minimum B2–C1 (technical communication with international clients)

·        Experience in food and beverage industrial environments

·        Full availability for international travel

·        American Visa B1/B2

Roles and Responsibilities

·        Lead execution of preventive, corrective, and advanced maintenance activities

·        Troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and automation issues

·        Perform calibration, adjustments, and performance optimization of packaging systems

·        Implement packaging line performance improvement strategies

·        Act as technical representative in front of clients on-site

·        Prepare detailed technical service reports

·        Lead technical training and mentoring junior/intermediate engineers

·        Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and international standards

Required Technical Experience – Tetra Pak Packaging

Hands-on experience in one or more of the following systems:

·        Aseptic filling systems (A3 Flex, TBA21, TBA8 or similar)

·        High-speed packaging lines and line integration

·        Downstream equipment and line efficiency optimization

·        Pneumatic, mechanical, and electromechanical packaging systems

Additional Technical Knowledge (highly valued)

·        Industrial automation:

ü PLC Rockwell (Allen-Bradley)

ü PLC Siemens

ü HMI / SCADA

·        Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and machine logic

·        Advanced troubleshooting through control systems

Education

·        Technical degree or Engineering in Mechatronics, Automation, Mechanical or related fields

·        Tetra Pak technical certifications (highly valued)

·        Training in industrial maintenance
