We are seeking a personable, well-spoken, team oriented, skilled and motivated junior/senior IT Engineer to add to our Chicagoland team. Responsibilities
- Focused user support approach and timely resolution of reported technical issues.
- Good approach to user issues with positive attitude and proactive approach.
- Assist business users in resolving computer related issues such as cloud access, email connectivity, hardware, software and network connectivity.
- Support and troubleshoot end user Office365 cloud access and misc issues.
- Assist our senior engineers with various projects.
- Identify, research, and resolve various user related technical problems.
- Escalate and collaborate on critical incidents with senior team members.
- Document and maintain user request and incident records in IT Service Ticket Management System.
- Maintain ownership of user inquiries and requests through resolution, owning the relationship with the customer
- Escalate calls, as necessary, to our senior IT staff, or authorized contractors, to resolve problems or fulfill requests according to established escalation procedures.
- Manage and actively engage in client system monitoring activities.
Critical Knowledge
- Expert understanding of Microsoft Windows 10/11
- Excellent understanding of Office 365 user support (provisioning new users, troubleshooting user issues)
- Microsoft Office suite setup and support in business environments.
- Basic Understanding of Windows Server Functionality
- Good understanding of AD Domains and Active Directory functionality and user setup.
- Business Antivirus Solutions (MS Defender, BitDefender, Eset)
- Experience supporting cloud solutions (backup, file, email)
Minimum requirements
- Must have 3-5 years of experience supporting business users and networks.
- Previous MSP experience is preferred.
- A proven track record of supporting business users.
- BS or Equivalent Degree required.
- Microsoft certifications are a plus.
- Must be authorized to work in US without sponsorship.
- Full English Fluency required
Salary : $70,000 - $75,000
