Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to ensure safety and compliance with building codes.
- Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute plumbing layouts and modifications.
- Perform pipe threading, fitting, and assembly tasks for new construction remodeling projects and service work
- Conduct heavy lifting of materials and equipment on construction sites while following safety protocols.
- Collaborate with carpenters, HVAC technicians, and other trades to coordinate project timelines and specifications.
- Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues with plumbing fixtures, pipe systems, and any plumbing issues that may occur on the job.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and inspections conducted for project documentation.
Experience
- Proven experience in construction plumbing or related fields with hands-on work on commercial or residential sites.
- Skilled in using hand tools such as wrenches, pipe cutters, threaders, as well as power tools necessary for installation and repairs.
- Familiarity with soldering/brazing techniques relevant to plumbing applications
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and mechanical drawings accurately.
- Valid driver’s license with commercial driving experience preferred
Pay: $60,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
