The Director of Sales has primary responsibility to drive bookings of new solutions to meet corporate goals. Working with new and existing customers, he or she is required to be knowledgeable in a range of TouchNet and OneCard software solutions, hardware solutions, and the global university commerce space. The Director of Sales will directly lead sales people who call on new and existing accounts, and sell a broad solution set utilizing corporate sales methodologies and best practices. Responsibilities will include sales enablement/coaching, sales process improvement, ensuring compliance within corporate sales technology (Salesforce.com, Pardot, and others), bridging gaps between functional areas of the company, and improving the operational effectiveness of the sales team. The Director of Sales must be highly proficient in critical thinking, communication, leadership, coaching, and presentation skills.

Major Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- The Director of Sales will develop and implement sales strategy, monitor/analyze sales activity against goals, and lead their respective sales department.
- Meet and exceed sales bookings targets and accomplish corporate objectives
- Support, enable and drive the sales team to sell better, faster and more efficiently.
- Leverage data analytics extensively to influence sales tactics and strategies for the sales team.
- Develop and coordinate sales selling cycle and methodology within sales team.
- Collaborate with company marketing organization to identify and develop new campaigns, programs, and efforts to drive team success
- Assist in the administration of sales compensation and incentive plans, and assist in the development of sales promotions to drive specific behaviors.
- Directly manage major and critical developing client accounts and coordinate the management of all other accounts by the sales team
- Engage with the Executive Management Team to develop strategic business plans for the respective sales team
- Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate sales team staff
- Define and monitor the KPIs necessary to improve sales processes and performance, and assist with onboarding and training new sales reps to ensure quick time to productivity.
- Work with peers in Marketing, Product Management, and Business Development to optimize market penetration, solution delivery, and market preparedness.
- Leverage Product Management/Marketing resources to help produce knowledge base(s), content assets, and sales tools for use both internally and externally.
- 10 years relevant experience in sales and sales leadership
- Ability to translate sales strategies into actionable deliverables for the sales team.
- Extensive experience implementing, administering and/or using Salesforce.com.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities/tasks and strong project management skills.
- Experience at high growth SaaS or enterprise software company.
- Track record of driving performance by working cross-functionally with Marketing, Product Management, Business Development, and Finance.
- Strong interpersonal skills that foster positive working relationships across the organization.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, with a high regard for quality and consistency of communication.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Frequent travel within the continental United States and Internationally may be required
- B.S. degree is strongly preferred.
- Focused on achieving defined results, and exceeding goals and objectives.
- Ability to work with a diverse team in a fast-paced environment.
- Enthusiasm and the ability to thrive in an atmosphere of constant change.
- Excellent computer skills (Salesforce.com, Google Suite, Microsoft Office, inclusive of Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
