JOB TITLE: WELDER
CLASSIFICATION: NON-EXEMPT
REPORTS TO: OPERATIONS MANAGER
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage and perform welding work
- Analyze prints and instructions pertaining to dimensions and tolerances of finished product, sequence of operations and setup requirements
- Verify conformance of finished product to specifications, using precision measuring instruments
- Perform all job functions to meet acceptable quality and performance standards
· Maintain safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations
- Punctuality and regular attendance are required
- Perform all other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Experience in MIG & TIG required (alum/steel) and laser welding a plus
- Understanding of mechanics, basic metallurgy, tolerances, tools, basic electrical knowledge for welding and strong shop math skills
- Excellent teamwork skills
Physical Demands
- Continuous standing, bending with regular kneeling, stooping, reaching with hands and arms
- Frequently lift up to 40 lbs.
- Vision abilities required include close vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
- Safety shoes (non-skid with a reinforced toe), safety glasses, ear protection and other personal protective equipment is required
Education/Training
- High School diploma or equivalent required

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
