UPSTREAM MANUFACTURING ASSOCIATE Piscataway, NJ - Full-Time, Permanent
We are placing an Upstream Manufacturing Associate with a leading biologics manufacturer in Piscataway, NJ. Full-time, permanent position - not contract.
You will be running mammalian cell culture and bioreactor operations in a cGMP manufacturing environment, executing batches from seed train through to 1000L scale on live biosimilar programs.
What you'll be doing:
- Executing cell culture and bioreactor operations at multiple scales in a cGMP environment
- Running engineering and clinical batches from seed train to 1000L
- Operating and maintaining single-use systems, bioreactors, and associated equipment
- Reviewing and completing batch records, deviations, and GMP documentation
- Supporting investigations and corrective actions arising from batch execution
What you need:
- 1-2 years hands-on experience in upstream cGMP manufacturing within biopharma or a CDMO
- Mammalian cell culture and bioreactor operations experience
- Familiarity with single-use manufacturing consumables - bags, tube sets, process manifolds
- Comfortable with GMP batch documentation and compliance requirements
- BS or MS in biological, biochemical, chemical, or related sciences
MFG I, II, and III positions available depending on experience level.
