Downstream Manufacturing Supervisor - Day & Night Shift Piscataway, NJ - Full-Time, Permanent
We are placing a Downstream Manufacturing Supervisor with a leading biologics manufacturer in Piscataway, NJ. Full-time, permanent position - not contract. Two positions available - day and night shift.
You will be leading a team of manufacturing associates executing downstream purification processes in a cGMP environment, overseeing batch execution at 50L to 1000L scale on live biosimilar programs.
What you'll be doing:
- Supervising and mentoring downstream manufacturing associates across shift operations
- Overseeing purification operations including chromatography, AKTA skids, and TFF systems
- Ensuring batch execution runs to schedule - engineering, clinical, and commercial stage
- Reviewing and approving batch records, deviations, and GMP documentation
- Leading investigations and driving corrective actions arising from batch execution
- Maintaining compliance with cGMP, EHS, and site quality standards
- Coordinating with cross-functional teams including QA, engineering, and process development
What you need:
- 1-2 years supervisory or team lead experience in a cGMP biologics manufacturing environment
- Hands-on downstream manufacturing background - purification, chromatography, TFF
- Experience at scale - 50L to 1000L purification operations
- Comfortable owning GMP documentation, deviations, and compliance requirements
- BS or MS in biological, biochemical, chemical, or related sciences
