Dean of Students
The Global Learning Charter Public School is currently seeking a committed and dynamic individual to serve as an educational leader in our school. We are seeking a highly motivated, exceptional, results oriented professional who is committed to high standards of performance and achievement by both students and educators. The Dean of Students, under the direct supervision of the school Principal and in cooperation with the Vice Principal and Director of School Culture, provides general assistance in a wide variety of school administrative functions, including, but not limited to, student behavior management, classroom support, building management, and developing school culture. This position will service all grades 5-12.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Serve as a resource for teachers regarding student achievement, attendance, behavior, and other needs.
Provide supplemental support in areas that inhibit student achievement which could include student discipline and student attendance issues.
Communicate regularly and maintain a positive relationship with GLCPS families.
Assist with maintaining a safe and secure campus.
Work with the school community to promote a positive school image.
Work in collaboration with and support the MTSS team.
