Job Summary-
Global Leadership Academy is seeking a knowledgeable and engaging High School Chemistry Teacher to provide rigorous, inquiry-based science instruction. The ideal candidate will foster scientific thinking and support student success through hands-on laboratory experiences.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities-Deliver Standards-aligned Chemistry Instruction
Facilitate hands-on laboratory experiments and inquiry-based learning
Teach scientific concepts, problem-solving, and analytical skills
Ensure safe lab procedures and classroom management
Use data to guide instruction and interventions
Communicate student progress to families
Collaborate with staff and participate in school initiatives
Minimum Qualifications-
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
Valid Florida Teaching Certificate in Science (6–12)
Strong knowledge of chemistry content
Preferred Qualifications-
3 years of teaching experience
Experience in lab-based instruction
Work Schedule-
Monday through Friday
8-hour shift
