Job Description

Job Title: Database Administrator
Job Location: Rock Island, IL
Job Type: Full Time

Job Description:

  • Install, configure, and harden SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and Azure PaaS databases.

  • Implement backup, recovery, and high availability (HA)/disaster recovery (DR) strategies.

  • Monitor database health, indexes, and query performance.

  • Troubleshoot database issues, including blocking, deadlocks, and latency.

  • Support release cycles and schema changes.

Requirement:

  • 4–7 years of experience in database administration.

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.

  • DP-300 Certification (Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate).

  • Security certification (IAT II level).

  • Active Secret clearance.
