This role involves a mix of technical troubleshooting, physical labor, and administrative tasks to maintain agency buildings, equipment, and vehicles in peak condition.Illustrative Duties & ResponsibilitiesFacility Maintenance & Technical SupportRoutine Inspections: Conduct daily walkthroughs of the interior and exterior of the building(s).Repairs & Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues involving small appliances and general building equipment.Technical Tasks: Replace bulbs, work in confined spaces, and utilize ladders safely to maintain the facility.System Knowledge: Apply basic knowledge of mechanical engineering, HVAC, and plumbing to assist in facility upkeep.Reading Schematics: Interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics to guide repairs and installations.
