The Global Human Rights Commission (GHRC) is seeking a dynamic Human Resources (HR) Manager to build and lead the people operations strategy for a new, federally backed human trafficking response infrastructure. This role is responsible for executing trauma-informed, compliant, and strategic HR systems across a 24/7 operation that supports national hotline agents, executive leadership, and all internal divisions.
As the HR Manager, you will be a core member of GHRC’s Operations Tier—ensuring hiring pipelines, onboarding, performance, retention, workplace wellness, and conflict resolution are handled with professionalism and legal integrity. You’ll also coordinate with the Office of Strategic Funding & Resource Allocation (OSFRA) to ensure federal labor compliance, audit preparedness, and policy enforcement across the organization.
- Oversee full-cycle recruitment, hiring, and onboarding for all GHRC staff (80 FTEs)
- Develop and enforce internal HR policies in alignment with federal grant guidelines and labor law
- Support trauma-informed and DEI-aligned workplace practices across all shifts and divisions
- Manage employee performance, evaluations, corrective actions, and terminations when necessary
- Collaborate with GHRC’s Executive Office and OSFRA to ensure audit-readiness and records compliance
- Lead employee engagement, benefits coordination, and workplace wellness programming
- Investigate and mediate staff disputes or complaints in a fair, impartial, and confidential manner
- Maintain accurate and secure employee files, timesheets, and training records
- Develop and update the GHRC Staff Handbook, Code of Conduct, and HR SOPs
- Serve as point of contact for all HR-related inquiries, grievances, and exit interviews
Ideal Candidate
- 5 years of professional HR experience, preferably in nonprofit, crisis response, or government sectors
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification strongly preferred
- Knowledge of trauma-informed workplace principles and 24/7 workforce management
- Familiarity with federal labor laws, HR audit processes, and employee classification under grant-funded programs
- Experience with HRIS systems, onboarding platforms, and digital timekeeping tools
- Strong interpersonal, conflict resolution, and policy enforcement skills
- Able to work in-office in Fort Worth with some virtual coordination as needed

Full-time exempt employee. Standard schedule Monday through Friday, with occasional after-hours coordination as needed for crisis support or HR compliance issues.
