What are the responsibilities and job description for the Silks Server position at GLOBAL GAMING SOLUTIONS LLC?
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Welcomes each party to the dining room and explains the many food and beverage amenities available to the guests.
- Serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests in the dining room as may be required to ensure maximum levels of guest service.
- Handles decision-making, problem solving, complaint resolution, and customer service matters in accordance with skill levels.
- Ensures appearance of assigned station or service areas are maintained in a clean and functional manner.
- Follows all dining room operating procedures, safety and sanitation regulations and departmental policies and procedures.
- Notifies appropriate staff members when assistance is needed.
- Demonstrates an upbeat and outgoing demeanor while on duty.
- Ensures compliance with all applicable regulations, laws, internal policies/procedures, and internal control protocols.
- Promotes outstanding customer relations.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Technical school or formal apprenticeship may be required.
- Requires knowledge and skills needed to safely serve beverages in accordance with internal policies and external regulations and/or laws.
- Requires the knowledge, skills, and abilities to work with personal computers, point of sale systems, credit card/players club card systems, cash, etc.
- Must be knowledgeable in food and beverage sanitation, guest service, cash control policies, practices, and protocols.
- Must be able to work effectively with peers, staff members, and regulatory agency personnel.
- Strong written and oral communication skills required.
- Ability to solve problems and deal with a variety of situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
