Global Food Corp. is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated bilingual Accounting Clerk with Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) experience to join our growing finance team in Medley, Florida.

This role plays a key part in supporting day-to-day accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance with financial and FTZ-related inventory transactions. Key Responsibilities

• Process invoices, purchase orders, and payment transactions related to frozen, dry, and refrigerated inventory
• Maintain accurate and timely data entry within the accounting system
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
• Reconcile financial records and support account balancing activities
• Maintain organized documentation including invoices, receipts, and shipping records
• Work with operations and warehouse teams to track inventory movements within the Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ)
• Assist with FTZ inventory tracking, adjustments, and compliance documentation
• Ensure financial records align with FTZ reporting and inventory movement requirements
• Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve billing discrepancies
• Monitor outstanding balances and assist with payment follow-up
• Support the preparation of monthly financial reports, including income statements and balance sheets
• Provide documentation and support during internal and external audits
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting and reporting processes
• Perform additional accounting or administrative duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 1–3 years of accounting, bookkeeping, or finance experience preferred
• Experience working in a Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) environment required or strongly preferred
• Experience in food distribution, import/export, logistics, or warehouse operations is highly desirable
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and financial procedures
• Must be bilingual

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills with both internal teams and external vendors
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
