Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to manage and maintain accurate financial records for our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, proficiency with various accounting software, and the ability to perform complex reconciliations. This role is vital in ensuring the integrity of financial data, supporting compliance with GAAP standards, and providing insightful financial reports to assist management decision-making. The Bookkeeper will work closely with other finance team members to handle day-to-day bookkeeping tasks and contribute to the overall financial health of the organization.ResponsibilitiesMaintain and update the general ledger using accounting software such as QuickBooks.Prepare and record journal entries accurately, including debits & credits.Perform bank reconciliations and account reconciliations regularly to verify accuracy of financial data.Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes efficiently.Assist with payroll processing and related tax filings, ensuring compliance with governmental regulations.Conduct balance sheet reconciliation and general ledger accounting activities.Ensure compliance with GAAP standards and maintain proper documentation for all transactions.Assist with external audits and provide necessary documentation as required.Support special projects as needed.QualificationsProven experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles.Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks and other financial tools.Strong understanding of GAAP standards and financial concepts.Experience with bank reconciliation, account analysis, journal entries, and general ledger reconciliation.Ability to perform 10 key typing accurately for data entry tasks.Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy in recordkeeping.
Salary : $60,000 - $75,000
