Overview
Reports To: Senior SC Insurance Control Officer
Primary Functions: Controlling adverse actions associated with credit union collateral.
Duties and responsibilities:
Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Creditable Experience in Lieu of Education: N/A
Experience/Skills: Requires good written and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of laws and regulations involving repossession, foreclosures and insurance claim processing preferred.
Tenure: Special Credits Insurance Control Officer II (Category 11) requires one year as an Special Credits Insurance Control Officer I (Category 12). Special Credits Insurance Control Officer III (Category 10) requires 12 months tenure in the Special Credits Insurance Control Officer II (Category 11). Assignment to the Senior Secial Credits Insurance Control (Category 09) will be determined by the candidate's education or experience. Advancement requires management recommendation and will be based on the candidate's performance. At management's discretion, directly related work experience and/or accelerated training completion may be substituted for tenure.
Compensation
Salary Pay Range:
- Special Credits Insurance Control Officer I (Category 12): $48,387 - $73,549 annually
- Special Credits Insurance Control Officer II (Category 11): $52,258 - $81,523 annually
- Special Credits Insurance Control Officer III (Category 10): $57,484 - $90,825 annually
Starting base salary will be determined based on candidate experience, qualifications, education, and local or state wage requirements, if applicable and will fall within the range provided above.
In accordance with our Salary Administration policy, new hire base salaries generally fall within the minimum to midpoint of the listed range.
