Technical Writer – AR/VR Data Collection

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for AR/VR data collection activities.
• Create hardware setup, calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting guides for AR headsets, sensors, and related equipment.
• Translate complex engineering and research requirements into easy-to-follow documentation for operational teams.
• Observe data collection sessions and continuously improve documentation based on user feedback.
• Document safety procedures in collaboration with EHS teams.
• Manage documentation within Confluence, internal wikis, or other knowledge management platforms.
• Create visual documentation including screenshots, diagrams, flowcharts, and instructional materials.

Required Skill

• s5 years of Technical Writing experience
• .Minimum 2 years supporting Hardware, Manufacturing, Operations, or AR/VR environments
• .Experience creating SOPs, user manuals, troubleshooting guides, and procedural documentation
• .Strong documentation skills using Confluence, Google Workspace, MadCap Flare, or similar tools
• .Experience with Snagit, Visio, Lucidchart, Photoshop, or similar diagramming tools
• .Ability to understand hardware systems and document technical processes accurately
• .Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• .Excellent written and verbal communication skills
