Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced person with a strong understanding of automotive product development processes and hands-on experience with industry-leading PLM and engineering tools such as 3DEXPERIENCE (3DX) and Teamcenter.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in an OEM or Tier-1 automotive environment and possess a strong understanding of the complete vehicle development lifecycle, product definition, engineering release processes, BOM management, configuration management, and digital product development.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support vehicle engineering and product development activities throughout the complete vehicle development lifecycle.
- Support product definition, engineering release, change management, and configuration management processes.
- Manage and maintain engineering product structures and Bill of Materials (BOM).
- Work extensively with 3DEXPERIENCE (3DX), Teamcenter, and PLM systems for engineering data and product lifecycle management.
- Support engineering teams with product data, design releases, engineering changes, and configuration updates.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including design, manufacturing, program management, quality, and supplier engineering.
- Ensure engineering information and product structures are accurate and aligned with program requirements.
- Support digital product development and PLM process improvements.
- Work closely with OEM and Tier-1 stakeholders to resolve product development and engineering release issues.
- Support program milestones, engineering deliverables, and vehicle development activities.
Required Qualifications
- Strong experience in automotive vehicle engineering or product development.
- Experience working within an OEM or Tier-1 automotive environment.
- Strong hands-on experience with 3DEXPERIENCE (3DX) and/or Teamcenter.
- Strong understanding of PLM and digital product development processes.
- Experience with BOM management and product structure management.
- Knowledge of engineering release and engineering change management processes.
- Experience with configuration management and product definition.
- Strong understanding of the automotive vehicle development lifecycle.
