Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled HIL Test Engineer to support engine systems development and validation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for simulation-based testing, validation, and documentation of engine control features using Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) and Model-in-the-Loop (MIL) methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain technical documentation including tuning guides, test plans, test reports, and certification documents for engine system features.
- Analyze problem statements and support system-level solution development for software change requests.
- Develop and review software requirements using MATLAB, Simulink, and Stateflow.
- Build and support feature-level simulation models for validation activities.
- Perform software validation using Model-in-the-Loop (MIL) and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing, including both open-loop and closed-loop testing.
- Execute and support bench testing activities (remote access provided) to validate system functionality and performance.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure accurate implementation and verification of control strategies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience with MATLAB, Simulink, and Stateflow
- Hands-on experience in HIL/MIL testing and validation
- Understanding of embedded systems and engine control systems
- Experience with test automation and simulation environments
- Strong analytical and debugging skills
- Good documentation and communication skills
