Key Responsibilities
- Develop custom software solutions for CAE and engineering process automation.
- Integrate commercial, open-source, and internal engineering tools using APIs and SDKs.
- Build production-ready plugins, drivers, and adapter libraries.
- Develop integrations using REST APIs, MQTT, SDKs, and related interfaces.
- Create abstraction layers to isolate third-party API dependencies.
- Prepare interface control documents (ICDs) and API specifications.
- Configure development, testing, and production deployment environments.
- Implement secure credential handling and connection management.
- Conduct integration testing and validation for performance and data accuracy.
- Develop mock or sandbox test environments when production systems are unavailable.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve engineering workflows and automation capability.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- Experience in software development and engineering tool integration.
- Strong programming knowledge in Python or similar languages.
- Experience with REST APIs, SDK integration, MQTT, and automation frameworks.
- Understanding of CAE and simulation workflows preferred.
- Strong problem-solving and technical documentation skills.
