Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Drafter / Designer to create and maintain detailed engineering drawings, 3D models, and assemblies for mechanical components and systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience using Creo CAD software and the Windchill PLM system in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed mechanical drawings, 3D models, and assemblies using Creo.
- Maintain engineering documentation within the Windchill system.
- Interpret engineering specifications, layouts, and design requirements.
- Modify and update existing drawings and assemblies based on engineering changes.
- Collaborate with engineers, manufacturing teams, and project stakeholders.
- Ensure all drawings comply with company and industry drafting standards.
- Support product development, prototype, and production activities.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proficiency in Creo (Parametric) for mechanical drafting and modeling.
- Experience with Windchill PLM/document management system.
- Strong understanding of mechanical drafting standards and GD&T.
- Ability to create detailed assemblies and manufacturing drawings.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Associate’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Drafting, Design Engineering, or related field preferred.
- Prior experience in manufacturing, aerospace, elevator, or industrial design environments is a plus.
