Job Summary:
The Hotel Sales Manager is responsible for generating revenue by identifying and developing sales opportunities, maintaining relationships with clients, and achieving or exceeding the hotel's sales targets. This role requires a proactive approach to sales and a deep understanding of the hospitality industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and maximize market share.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and new opportunities.
- Prepare detailed sales forecasts, budgets, and action plans.
Client Relationship Management:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agents, event planners, and other key partners.
- Conduct site visits, client meetings, and presentations to promote the hotel’s facilities and services.
- Respond promptly to client inquiries, negotiate contracts, and close sales.
Revenue Generation:
- Drive room bookings, conference and event sales, and other revenue streams.
- Work closely with the revenue management team to optimize pricing and inventory strategies.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to implement promotional campaigns and packages.
Team Collaboration:
- Coordinate with other departments, such as operations and F&B, to ensure seamless service delivery for clients.
- Provide guidance and training to junior sales staff, if applicable.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of proven experience in hotel sales or a related role in the hospitality industry.
- Experience with corporate accounts, event sales, and group bookings is preferred.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficient in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and hotel management systems.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Willingness to travel and attend industry events as needed.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
