POSITION SUMMARY
The Logistics Associate will be responsible for coordination of
inbound and outbound material, robots, receipt processing,
warehousing, filling customer orders, picking, distributing
production material, packaging material, and shipment of material.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Pick and package material and robots for internal and external requirements per orders.
- Stock material and robots in accordance with department stocking guidelines.
- Assign, maintain, and update warehouse locations.
- Process receipts including verifying receipts against packing slip and routing/stocking receipted material.
- Prepare material, robots, and controllers for shipment.
- Perform data entry of transactions.
- Perform daily organization and cleaning of warehouse areas.
- Conduct daily inventory cycle counts and reconciliation of inventory variances.
- Operate power tools including Saw, Drill, Pneumatic Nailer, and Stapler.
- Operate equipment including Fork Lift Truck, Manlift, Reach Truck, and Pallet Jack.
- Maintain filing of departmental records.
- Reorganize and reconfigure warehouse areas as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience: Experience in Logistics and Warehousing preferred.
- Equipment Skills: Forklift, manlift, reach truck, and/or overhead crane experience helpful.
- Technical Skills: PC skills preferred.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Attention to Detail: Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills — ability to identify and define problems or needs and develop effective solutions.
- Teamwork: Ability to successfully work in teams, demonstrate personal initiative, and effectively manage themselves in a somewhat unstructured environment.
