FP&A Analyst

A leading global luxury fashion brand is seeking an FP&A Analyst for their growing finance team. This role will support budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and month-end close activities and offers exposure to senior leadership, cross-functional business partners, and executive-level reporting while playing a key role in financial planning and performance analysis.

Contract through January 2027 (high possibility of extension)

Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Analysis

• Support annual budgeting and monthly forecasting processes.
• Perform detailed analysis of budgets, forecasts, and financial performance.
• Identify trends, risks, and opportunities through variance analysis and reporting.
• Partner with business leaders to review financial results and spending trends.

Financial Reporting & Close Process

• Assist with month-end and quarter-end close activities.
• Gather, validate, and consolidate financial information for reporting deadlines.
• Prepare and distribute monthly and quarterly financial performance summaries.
• Support executive reporting packages and management presentations.
• Refresh, update, and maintain recurring financial reports and reporting files.
• Prepare journal entries and account analyses as needed.

Analysis & Executive Support

• Develop financial models and ad hoc analyses to support business decisions.
• Create and maintain PowerPoint presentations for leadership reviews.
• Consolidate and reconcile financial information across multiple reporting areas.
• Support special projects and process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of FP&A, corporate finance, accounting, or financial analysis experience.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and financial reporting.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred

• Experience with Hyperion Planning and/or Essbase.
• SAP experience is highly preferred.
• Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, and financial close processes.
• Public accounting experience is a plus.

Work Environment

• Hybrid schedule: 2 days in-office per week in Midtown Manhattan, NY - near Bryant Park and Port Authority.
