Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Miami, FL, for a Project Engineer at GLF Construction Corporation. The Project Engineer will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of construction projects with a focus on quality, safety, and meeting project timelines. Responsibilities include preparing project schedules, coordinating with team members and subcontractors, tracking progress, and ensuring compliance with design specifications and safety protocols. The role also involves preparing reports, managing project documentation, and assisting in cost control and budgeting initiatives.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in project management, including planning, scheduling, and progress tracking
- Experience with engineering principles, design specifications, and technical documentation
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary teams, subcontractors, and clients
- Proficiency in software tools such as AutoCAD, project management software, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of construction safety regulations and standards
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
- Previous experience in heavy civil construction or marine works is highly preferred
- Problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
