Glenwood Behavioral Therapy Center is seeking a Clinical Psychologist passionate about working with children and families to join our growing, collaborative team. The position offers a flexible Monday–Friday schedule with occasional opportunities to travel for school-based assessments and consultations. We are seeking an energetic and dedicated psychologist who enjoys working with children ages 2–21 and their families, and who is eager to continue growing professionally in both assessment and therapeutic services.
As a leading provider of outpatient mental health services for children and adolescents in Alabama, Glenwood offers a rich and supportive clinical environment. Our services include specialized assessments on a broad range of mental health conditions, including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, personality disorders, and neurodevelopmental disorders like Autism and ADHD, to name a few. We also provide evidence-based therapies such as PCIT, CBT, and DBT to children, adolescents, and their families.

Qualifications, Experience & Benefits
Qualifications:
- PhD or Psy D. in Clinical Psychology from an APA-accredited program
- Completed a postdoctoral fellowship
- Licensed in Alabama, or eligible for licensure (We support out-of-state candidates with licensure endorsement assistance)
Preferred Experience:
- Autism and neurodevelopmental assessments, including Autism, ADHD, and trauma-related disorders (ADOS-2 a plus)
- Other behavioral /mental health assessments and diagnostics
- Strong knowledge of the DSM-5-TR diagnostic criteria and familiarity with administering psychological testing instruments.
- Implementation of evidence-based therapies, particularly for children and families

Salary : $115,000 - $145,000
