CERTIFIED PERSONAL TRAINERS
The Athletic Club at Glenwood Hot Springs Resort is looking to hire Personal Trainers!
The hours are flexible, compensation is commission based and includes a membership to the Athletic Club and Pool!
The Athletic Club is open Year Round!
PRIMARY FUNCTION:
- Provide motivating custom fitness and training sessions for clients.
- Educate clients and encourage safe fitness practices.
- Maintain an inspiring, safe and enjoyable atmosphere with exceptional guest service.
- Committed to meeting the needs of members and guests.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Ability to demonstrate the correct use of all weight and cardiovascular equipment and tailor sessions based on fitness evaluations as well as needs and goals.
- Assist with development and promotion of club programs and events.
- Maintain a positive attitude at all times
- Encourage members to meet their fitness and wellness goals.
- Address concerns and complaints quickly and professionally.
- Demonstrate a passion for fitness.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 1 year of fitness experience required.
- 4 year degree in exercise science/kinesiology, preferred.
- Passion for fitness.
- Current accredited personal training certifications
- Other certifications a plus: spinning, yoga, Pilates and other group fitness certifications
- Strong fitness knowledge and ability to build relationships through life changing results.
- Strong knowledge of athletic club equipment and safety procedures.
- First Aid, CPR/AED certifications a plus.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Be able to demonstrate proper use of equipment, both verbally and physically.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk, stand, sit, talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to use hands to finger, handle, feel or operate objects, tools, and/or controls; and reach with hands and arms. The employee may be frequently required to climb or balance, stretch, reach, touch, stoop, kneel, jump, lunge, crouch, or crawl.
