Position Description:
Responsible for Gift Shop Cashier operations.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for assisting guests with their product purchases. Products may include but not limited to ride tickets and cave tours.
Efficiently and quickly explain the difference between products to guests.
Restock products that are low in volume and ensure a very neat and clean Gift Shop.
Receives payments from guests and enters appropriate information into computer software.
Responsible for opening and closing cash drawers.
Stocking inventory, maintaining cleanliness of workspace, friendly and exemplary guest service.
Will be trained on Photo Sales tasks and responsibilities.
Complete other tasks or duties as they are assigned by your supervisor.
Administration:
Completed and submitted the Cashier Training checklist proving knowledge of park and cash register operations.
Financial:
Responsible for cash bag and contents throughout duration of working shift.
Operations:
Have a keen eye for property presentation.
Respond to guest inquiries and guest feedback in a professional manner.
Complete other tasks or duties as they are assigned by the Retail Manager or Retail Supervisor.
Safety:
Listen to and follow direction accurately.
Maintain the cleanliness of work area.
Communication:
Communicates with Manager on Duty via radio to remain informed of attraction status; updates status board accordingly.
Requirements:
Must have a positive attitude and excellent customer service skills with a strong desire to please guests and employees.
Effectively answer any guest questions related to park operations, or know who to ask, MOD.
Represent the company with a positive and professional image.
Must be able to work flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
Strong math and communication skills required.
Ability to multi task in a fast paced work environment.
Complete other tasks or duties as they are assigned by Retail Manager or Retail Supervisor.
Qualifications:
Must be at least 16 years of age.
Able to interpret both written & verbal instructions.
Must have reliable transportation.
Must be expert with what is offered in different areas of the park, including guest services, rides, shops, and food, in order to direct our guests.
Courtesy, alertness, a positive attitude and the ability to learn quickly are necessary
Strong critical thinking, attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to remain focused without direct supervision.
Previous computer, US currency exchanging and up selling preferred but not necessary.
Compensation:
Starting pay is $16.50/hour.

Within 2026 work the following hours and earn a scholarship! You must be a full-time student enrolled in at least 12 credit hours per semester. Scholarship will be paid directly to your higher education school.
250 hours - $500 higher education scholarship
400 hours - $1,000 higher education scholarship
600 hours - $1,800 higher education scholarship
