Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist - Nutrition Therapy Glens Falls, NY, United States Job Description The Impact You Can Make Make a direct impact on patient care by partnering with the Nutrition team to enhance patient care by contributing to diet entries, addressing patient concerns, and supporting overall patient satisfaction. Team Impact The primary responsibility of this position is to provide documented nutrition interventions that support patient health and well-being. How You Will Fulfill Your Potential Responsibilities Comprehensive nutritional assessment of patients prioritized to be at risk during the screening process or as a requested consult. Develop appropriate interdisciplinary care plans based on current treatment knowledge and clinical practices, discussing care plan with patient and/or significant other and the appropriate staff Respond to requests for nutrition education or counseling for patients and/or groups including appropriate materials for continuation of Education/Accredited Programs B.S. Degree in nutrition or dietetics. Registration through the Academy Of Nutrition & Dietetics. State certification as Certified Dietitian/Nutritionist. Master’s Degree preferred Licenses/Certifications/Registrations Achieve and maintain dietetic registration. Certification by the New York State Education Department as Dietitian/Nutritionist. Certification as Diabetes Educator or Nutrition Support Clinician preferred. Skills/Abilities High level verbal and written communication skills. Computer literacy (Microsoft). Salary Range The expected base rate for this Glens Falls, New York, United States-based position is $26.77 to $43.00 per hour. Exact rate is determined on a case-by-case basis commensurate with experience level, as well as education and certifications pertaining to each position which may be above the listed job requirements.
