The Glens Falls City School District is seeking interested applicants for a probationary track School Nurse (RN). This is a full-time (10-month) position. Salary is per contract (Glens Falls Teachers Association).
The School Nurse is responsible for promoting the health and well-being of all students and staff. Duties include but are not limited to providing first aid, managing chronic health conditions, administering medications, maintaining student health records, monitoring immunization compliance, and serving as a liaison between school personnel, families, and healthcare providers.
This position may also include managing school physicals for athletic participation.
Job Qualifications
- Hold current New York State license as a Registered Professional Nurse
- Candidate must be CPR Certified
