Duties
- Develop and implement fun, safe, and age-appropriate ballet curricula tailored specifically for toddlers.
- Lead lively ballet classes that incorporate basic dance techniques, movement exploration, and creative expression.
- Manage classroom behavior with positive reinforcement strategies to ensure a supportive learning environment.
- Plan engaging lesson plans that integrate elements of theater, movement, and early childhood education principles.
- Use photography and video to document student progress and create memorable keepsakes for families.
- Collaborate with parents and caregivers to communicate student progress and provide guidance on at-home activities.
- Incorporate elements of childcare, preschool experience, and behavior management to support each child's individual needs.
Experience
- Prior classroom experience working with young children in early childhood education or preschool settings.
- Strong background in ballet instruction, with knowledge of curriculum development and lesson planning tailored for toddlers.
- Experience managing classrooms with diverse behaviors using effective behavior management techniques.
- Familiarity with teaching methods related to special education or children with unique learning needs is a plus.
- Skills in theater arts, dancing, and creative movement to enhance class engagement.
- Knowledge of culinary arts or cooking is beneficial for integrating sensory activities into lessons.
