Glendora Employment Agency, Inc. is a boutique agency located in the foothills of the San Gabriel Valley. Our goal is to connect local employers with local talent. We are currently seeking a Quality Inspector for a manufacturing company in La Verne, CA.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Duties for this position include, but are not limited to:
- Perform thorough inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments, including calipers, micrometers, thread gauges, dial indicators, etc. to assess product dimensions and tolerances.
- Collect and analyze data related to quality metrics and report findings to management.
- Maintain documentation of inspections, test results, and non-conformance reports in accordance with CGMP guidelines.
- Collaborate with machinists to identify areas for improvement in quality control processes.
- Ensure adherence to quality systems and standards such as ISO 13485 and ISO 9001 throughout the manufacturing process.
- Participate in internal audits and assist in preparing for external audits related to QA/QC practices.
- Other tasks as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Ideal candidates should possess the following skills/qualifications demonstrated through previous work experience:
- Proven experience in a quality assurance or quality control role within a machine shop/manufacturing environment required.
- Familiarity with ISO 13485, ISO 9001, CGMP regulations, and other relevant quality standards.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
- Strong skills in data collection and analysis related to quality metrics.
- Experience with quality inspection techniques and methodologies.
- Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments such as calipers.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills are required.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while maintaining independent accountability for assigned tasks.
Position Type: Temp-to-Hire
Schedule: Monday – Friday from 6:00am – 2:30pm
Pay Rate: $26 - $33/hour (Depending on experience)
